With over two decades in higher education as an athletic academic professional, Yashica discovered a passion for helping others strive for personal and career success, especially for women of color and young professionals. Over time she desired to utilize her skills and experiences differently and persued a Master-Level Executive Coach certification.
YBMC was created because Yashica saw a need to provide hope and personal growth strategies to women wanting to advance in career and life. Since 2021, Yashica has helped new and seasoned professionals (in various industries) advance in leadership, pivot careers, start businesses, and develop action plans to move toward their professional and personal goals.
Her vision is to empower professionals to take charge of their career satisfaction and quality of life. You should not have to choose one over the other.
"I’ve lived those thoughts. I’ve overcome those thoughts and I want to share my experiences to help others do the same.”
“I asked Yashica to facilitate a workshop for my team because I knew she would be able to engage them. That built the trust that I needed for my team to buy into it and have even more of an appreciation for what she was presenting.“
"Her ability to authentically listen to individuals and counsel them using both her mind and heart is second to none. Yashica understands the importance of leading by hard work and the value of an optimistic approach. After just a brief conversation, I guarantee you will learn something new, feel refreshed, and laugh some too."
"Working with Yashica is a positive experience all around. When you are speaking with her it is clear she is 100% tuned into your words and feelings. She doesn't jump to conclusions but truly takes in your story and needs. Then, she puts you to work! Yashica challenges you in the best way with intentional questions and insights so you can take action towards your goals"
“I would recommend Yashica as a speaker because of her ability to captivate an audience. Also because the way she disarms a room allows people to open up. Through her stories you realize there is a very important point being made and are able to take that with you.”
“She [Yashica] has a lot of knowledge and has the experience to give you a real answer. She’s been in the industry a long time so she’s going to be genuine, she’s going to be honest, she’s going to be real with whatever you come to her about."
